I took a full day snowboard guidance with Maxim. I'm an intermediate snowboarder.Maxim is very familiar with the VT area and took me to nice freeride locations, he also gave me a lot of feedback on my riding. the price is not cheap, but as I've been with many guides over the years, and high level ones are hard to find, it is worth it. above all he is a good person that is fun to be around, which is important since you want to have fun on the mountains, and he's very serious about safety.
Maxime is fantastic! He has worked in Val Thorens for 17 years and knows it like the back of his hand! He speaks 6+ languages, fluently!It was our first time in the alps and skiing above the tree line. The first day was a complete white out. If it weren't for Max, we wouldn't have been able to ski that day at all give the lack of visibility and not knowing our way around.The next two days, he took us on a sighting expedition. hitting all the high points (pun intended). He was a very patient instructor, taking his time to guide my wife and get her comfortable with the terrain.Before the trip, he helped provide contacts for transportation, recommended hotels, equipment rental locations, etc. He met us at our hotel, assisted with lift tickets, and more. He even suggested swapping out some equipment to better suit our skiing styles and the conditions.I can't wait to go back to the Alps and will certainly be calling Max to instruct us the entire time. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
We had the pleasure of 🏂 for a week with Maxime this March… Maxime is an expert of the mountain and offered many tips for progression of our sport at all levels while we were there. Could not recommend enough!!!

Maxime nous a accompagné à plusieurs reprises et mêmes plusieurs générations. J’ai pris des cours de snowboard avec Maxime il y à quelques années, et c’est un véritable pédagogue. Il a su me rassurer et me donner confiance (malgré mon appréhension)😅. Ensuite mon fils a largement amélioré son niveaux en ski grâce aux conseils et la patience de Maxime💪. Et aujourd’hui c’est notre fille de 4 ans qui à appris à skier seule grâce aux cours avec Maxime l’année dernière et en début de cette saison!C’est un moniteur exceptionnel, qui sait communiquer avec toutes les générations!On lui fait entièrement confiance 🤩⛷️Merci beaucoup 🤗☀️
Booked Max for a private lesson to help instruct a beginner skier. He was fantastic. met us at the ski rental shop and helped with the fitting and set up then straight to the slopes.He was ontime, friendly, and was mindful in hi instructions.10/10 & will be using his services next year when we go back

I had an amazing week with Max in January. He is really the best and I book him every time I come to Val Thorens. We did some incredible off-piste, Max really knows the terrain inside out, he can found the best powder in some really secret spots ;). Super safe too!

Maxim is by far the number 1 instructor on the slopes. We were a group of different level skiers and he had the patience, knowledge and inteligence to guide each one of us in accordance with their own level.His tips and corrections were priceless. Maxime is the perfect instructor in Val Thorens. Always a smile on his face, nothing is a problem only solutions! The whole family have hade the enjoyment to ski with Maxime from Pist to harsh off pist. Looking forward to ski with him again in the Easter 2022.
This was our fourth year with Maxime and I cannot rate him highly enough. We have a mixed ability group of four adults and four kids who he skis with and everyone raves about him. Whether it be off piste with the adults, a proper ski lesson for one of us or taking the kids out for the afternoon you always get high energy, great tips and a fun time. We will be using him every time we go to the 3 Valleys.
Maxim was an absolute STAR! we booked a full day with him on the mountain - and even when the offpiste snow wasn't what we hoped it to be - he knew how to make the most of it and took us to places we would have never found without him.He also made sure that each one of us got some personal tips and attention - to get better in our riding -2 snowboarders and a skier - and everybody came out of the day better riders - and extremely happy.I highly recommend .
We had an amazing afternoon with Maxim!He took us to the best slopes of offpiste in Val Thorens and taught us how to improve our technique.Maxim is a great teacher, amazing person that lives the slopes and extreme sport and I would 100% recommend to do a session with him.Appreciate the time and effort Maxim!
10/10! Great professional with great communication skills! It was the best decision to start our vacation in the mountains with Maxim, though we had a group session we all got individual attention, he has a great sense of humour it was fun and 100% efficient and of course safe. Highly recommend!
We booked half a day with Maxime on our first day of arrival and that was the best decision ever! Even though we already knew a little bit about snowbaording, we went through some of the basics which helped us to gain confidence and start of correctly to snowbaord in the mountains. On the second day we could snowboard independantly and avoid traumas or dissapointment. Maxime really cared to teach us and even though we took group lesson he spend time with each of us individually as well. But the nicest thing was his personallity and sense of humour, we really felt comfortable to learn with him. Also after the lesson he helped us to get to know more about Val Thorens and answered any questions we had about anything! 10/10 experience! Thank you Maxime!
Tout simplement génial ! Professionnel et tout aussi à l’aise en Anglais qu’en Français le cours avec Maxime était excellent ! Nous avons énormément progressé et en plus de ça le tout dans une superbe ambiance.Je recommande donc à 200% et espère pouvoir skier à nouveau ensemble ;)
